Diet Log: Day 43
Well, it’s Monday … and what didn’t I do? Weigh! Sort of funny, really, after I babbled on about it yesterday. Oh well … on we go. I actually don’t feel like I’ve lost any weight this week. I know that probably sounds silly, but I’m pretty attuned to my body, both in terms of how I feel and my body “is” with regard to clothes, movement, chairs … add that to the fact that I had a bad day and an eat-out day. So what now? Reassert the “absolutes” mentality. Eat exactly what’s on the plan – measure, count, and follow the rules. And what would those be?
- Start the day with warm lemon water.
- Do not skip any meal or snack.
- Measure portions when they are specified.
- Do not add any foods unless allowances are a part of the menu.
- Do not skip vitamins.
- Drink at least 32 oz water.
- Keep track of calories and exercise.
- Get adequate rest.
And I will to do exactly that. Sticking with it is just plain hard. That’s no mystery. But we all know the rewards are worth the effort.
Having nothing what-so-ever to do with dieting … we got new furniture for our terrace!! Okay, maybe having a little to do with it. I look forward to the day when I no longer have to worry about the width of the seats. I actually fit more easily into our theatre seats on Saturday, and that was a pleasant surprise.
