How do I miss – 217

Seriously, how did I miss a day? My brain is just not in the game! This morning, while showering (the place I seem to chastise myself the most) I determined that I really must weigh myself and see just how far I’ve gone askew. So I finished the shower, dried off, and got out the scale. (Side note: I’m supposed to leave the scale in view, but I trip over it … oh well.) I sadly stepped up … and …

I’m happy and relieved to report the last six weeks did minimal damage, despite the off-the-plan eating and minimal exercise. I didn’t lose anything, of course, but I also didn’t gain. It’s just the bump I needed – the removal of more guilt … well, you know, I’ve gone on about that previously.

So, now what? More of the same …

I didn’t swim last week – a variety of reasons – but this week I’m headed back to the regular schedule. That’s M, T, TH, F. And, of course, thera-band workout.  I’ll have to go back and gradually add those workouts in as I did previously. Hopefully this will all be the impetus I need to kick start some pounds heading away.

Also on my schedule tomorrow – a detailed look at my eating plan. What am I eating, what am I avoiding? A diet menu plan is only workable if you want to eat the foods. I find myself avoiding some things and craving others. Have to dig down and find the strength to do this!
