Day 170 – Fact or Fiction

I rewrote my blog twice today … so the title actually had something to do with my thoughts. And then my thoughts went all over the place and I realized I was rambling.  I was researching diet myths and the truths behind them.

Very long story short, here are the facts:

  1. Diets work when you consistently follow a healthy plan with  healthy foods.
  2. Diets work when you include adequate daily exercise.
  3. Diets require healthy food and adequate planning.
  4. Diets cannot banish cellulite.
  5. Eating healthy is cheaper than eating fast-food.
  6. Protein actually leaves you feeling more satisfied than carbs or fat.
  7. Fiber makes you feel full.
  8. Diet foods can taste good, preparation is the key.
  9. If all else fails, walk.
  10. There’s no magic formula, dieting is hard work.
