I rewrote my blog twice today … so the title actually had something to do with my thoughts. And then my thoughts went all over the place and I realized I was rambling. I was researching diet myths and the truths behind them.
Very long story short, here are the facts:
- Diets work when you consistently follow a healthy plan with healthy foods.
- Diets work when you include adequate daily exercise.
- Diets require healthy food and adequate planning.
- Diets cannot banish cellulite.
- Eating healthy is cheaper than eating fast-food.
- Protein actually leaves you feeling more satisfied than carbs or fat.
- Fiber makes you feel full.
- Diet foods can taste good, preparation is the key.
- If all else fails, walk.
- There’s no magic formula, dieting is hard work.
